Updates from Phase 1 (April 25, 2008)

We would like to express our gratitude to the two ZYA Relief teams led by Pu Kap Banyan (Presdident, Young Vaiphei Association) and Pu Kamsuanlun (GEneral Secretary, Young Paite Association, General Headquarters) for taking up the responsibility of delivering the relief food bought with the donation from various philanthropists and churches in Japan.

Phase 1: Donations from Various Philanthropists are Sent To INDIA

AID Zomi, Japan transferred a sum of Rs. 1,18,900 (297,250 Yen) through the State Bank of India, Tokyo Branch to Lamka, to buy rice for "mautaam" victims, which will be transported to the mautaam affected villages by Zomi Youth Association. When the relief foods are delivered and we receive photos from ZYA, we will upload those photos to this website.
