Education for children has always been the heart of Aid Zomi. Apart from its commitment to aid the Mautaam victims, Aid Zomi has extended its support to 16 financially challenged children of HIV victims inIndia in January 2009 through a non-profit organization called AIGUPTA.
In Lamka town alone, there are large number orphans whose guardians cannot afford to pay for their school admissions. Due to limited funding, out of the many children who seek financial support, only those who were of extreme case could be helped.
Aid Zomi urges its supporters all over the world to join hands in making a difference to children who depend on our support for their future. Today's children are the future leaders. We cannot afford to ignore their need for education.
