AID ZOMI

Aid Zomi is happy to sponsor a ‘Concert for the Hungry’ concert in Lamka organized by COMFA (Committee on Mautaam Famine AID) on September 2008. Aid Zomi regrets the delay in giving detailed reports to donors as it took longer time than expected to communicate with COMFA.

On August 2008, Aid Zomi sent COMFA, Mautaam fund contributed by donors in Japan and India, a sum of JYP 503,500 (INR 200,000). Various artists from Manipur, Mizoram and Myanmar performed at the concert. The concert was a great success, which resulted in able to feed more Mautaam victims than ever before.

Aid Zomi would like to congratulate COMFA on this successful event, and sincerely thank the association for taking up the responsibilities of purchasing and distributing rice to number of villages affected by Mautaam. Most importantly, Aid Zomi would like to thank all donors in Japan and India for their generous support.
